Illustration poster graphics for ZERRIN
Call it the power of network, ZERRIN*, reached out to me based on a recommendation from my senior in Fashion Business course, and asked if I could help with some posters for her upcoming talks. She told me what she was looking for, and she said she would like if the poster had original illustrations.
So, for the first poster, for her talk called “Breaking Up With Fast Fashion” , I developed a design idea of a girl sitting in a pile of clothes and looking contemplative on her purchases. I also made an alternative version where the illustration were more shape than line based, where a girl is sitting leisurely (feeling relief after breaking up with fast fashion)
I showed her the options and the selection and refining process began. Susannah chose the first concept and so I created different versions of it to accommodate her need of the poster. I had to make different sizes for facebook cover, printed poster, and instagram post.
This was a truly exciting opportunity for me to explore digital illustrations. I have done some in the past and I can definitely see my progress. I did not think it would be something I could do but I now see it.
Ps: This poster is made for a talk about sustainable fashion, held on 27 April 2019 at Design Orchard, to know more about the event , click here : https://www.facebook.com/events/982900855240383/
